The interactive plasma screen is fantastic! I would never go back to an interactive whiteboard again. The children love it! The children and staff find it easy to use and it supports the learning of children with a wide range of abilities. It can be moved around the classroom easily which allows freedom to use it for different activities. We have used it in role-play and other areas depending on the learning involved.

The Links College is the umbrella name given to the Out of School Learning provision provided by West Sussex County Council. We have a number of small units around the County providing alternative education for students aged 5 to 16. Some are too ill to attend school and some are simply too naughty to be there! So with such a diverse group of youngsters, the staff need flexibility and reliability in all their IT equipment. Xi Technologies provides exactly that in the mobile plasma screen. We opted to include the laptop to run the screen but have used our own machines too. The screens are great for interactive work and also great for their mobility and robustness as we have a number of 'challenging' students. They enjoy creating their own animations and then streaming them through the plasma screen easily and to great effect aiding an immediate sense of achievement. The setting up of the screens was easy and demonstrated clearly by xi Technologies and the aftercare follow up has been efficient and helpful. Money well spent!
